NucSpot Far-Red

NucSpot Far-Red (Ex-Max 596 nm/Em-Max 667 nm)

Biotium's NucSpot Far-Red is a cell membrane-impermeant dye that enters cells with compromised membranes and is used for live/dead discrimination or DNA content analysis. This dye was developed as an alternative to 7-AAD with more advantageous spectral properties for reduced spillover. Since this dye stains cells with compromised membranes, it can be used with fixed cells, permeabilized cells, or as a stain for dead cell detection with flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy applications. It has an excitation peak at 596 nm and an emission peak at 667 nm.
