About APC-Cy7

APC-Cyanine® 7 (APC-Cy7) is an infrared-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines APC with Cy7. It can be excited using the 640 nm red laser and captured with a 780/60 nm bandpass filter. APC-Cy7 has an excitation peak at 650 nm and an emission peak at 785 nm, and is spectrally similar to APC-CF®770 (Biotium), APC-H7 (BD Biosciences), APC-eFluor™ 780 (ThermoFisher Scientific), APC-Vio®770 (Miltenyi Biotec), APC-Fire™ 750 (BioLegened) and APC-Fire™ 810 (BioLegend). APC-Cy7 is most commonly used in flow cytometery, and fluorescence imaging applications. Special precautions should be taken to protect the fluorophore from long-term exposure to light or paraformaldehyde. Cells should be analyzed within 4 hours of fixation in paraformaldehyde or transferred to a paraformaldehyde-free buffer for storage. This dye is a member of the Cyanine® dye family, a trademark of GE heathcare.
