DyLight™ 650 is a red-emitting fluorophore that excited by the 640 nm laser and collected using a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. DyLight 650 has an excitation peak at 652 nm and an emission peak at 672 nm, and is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor 647 and Cy5. DyLight 650 is most commonly used in flow cytometery, and fluorescence imaging applications. This dye is a member of the DyLight Fluor family of fluorophores produced by Dyomics in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific. Covering the entire visible light spectrum and several key near-infared and infrared wavelengths, the DyLight fluor spectral properties match the output (excitation) and detection wavelengths of common fluorescence instrumentation.
