About pHrodo Green

pHrodo Green from Thermo Fisher Scientific is a fluorogenic, cell-permeant pH indicator that is non-fluorescent at a neutral pH and increases in intensity with an increase in acidity involved in endocytosis and phagocytosis. PHrodo is often used to label proteins or biomolecules to track this process. PHrodo Green has an excitation peak at 509 nm and an emission peak at 533 nm, making it useful in both flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy.
