ZNF174

Aliases: ZSCAN8
Other: zinc finger protein 174|AW-1|zinc finger and SCAN domain-containing protein 8

This gene encodes a protein with three Cys2-His2-type zinc fingers in the carboxy-terminus, a putative nuclear localization signal, and an amino-terminus SCAN box which forms homodimers. This protein is believed to function as a transcriptional repressor. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016]

Common Filter: 670/30
Excitation Peak: 482
Emission Peak: 675

Peridinin-Chlorophyll-Protein (PerCP) is a red-emitting fluorescent protein isolated from algae that can be excited by the 488 nm blue laser and captured with a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. PerCP exhibits a large Stokes' Shift, with an excitation peak at 482 nm and an emission peak at 675 nm. PerCP is was historically used in flow cytometry, however it is highly susceptible to photobleaching and... see more
