UCHL1

Aliases: HEL-117, HEL-S-53, NDGOA, PARK5, PGP 9.5, PGP9.5, PGP95, SPG79, Uch-L1
Other: ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase isozyme L1|epididymis luminal protein 117|epididymis secretory protein Li 53|neuron cytoplasmic protein 9.5|ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal esterase L1 (ubiquitin thiolesterase)|ubiquitin thioesterase L1|ubiquitin thiolesterase

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the peptidase C12 family. This enzyme is a thiol protease that hydrolyzes a peptide bond at the C-terminal glycine of ubiquitin. This gene is specifically expressed in the neurons and in cells of the diffuse neuroendocrine system. Mutations in this gene may be associated with Parkinson disease.[provided by RefSeq, Sep 2009]

PE-Cy5

Common Laser: 488-561
Common Filter: 670/30
Excitation Peak: 496
Emission Peak: 667

PE-Cyanine®5 (PE-Cy5) is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines phycoerythrin (PE) and Cy5. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Cy5. PE-Cy5 has an excitation peak at 496 nm and an emission peak at 667 nm.
