PCK1

Aliases: PCKDC, PEPCK-C, PEPCK1, PEPCKC
Other: phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase, cytosolic [GTP]|PEP carboxykinase|phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1 (soluble)|phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase, cytosolic|phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase|phosphopyruvate carboxylase|serine-protein kinase PCK1

This gene is a main control point for the regulation of gluconeogenesis. The cytosolic enzyme encoded by this gene, along with GTP, catalyzes the formation of phosphoenolpyruvate from oxaloacetate, with the release of carbon dioxide and GDP. The expression of this gene can be regulated by insulin, glucocorticoids, glucagon, cAMP, and diet. Defects in this gene are a cause of cytosolic phosphoen... see more

PerCP

Common Laser: 488
Common Filter: 670/30
Excitation Peak: 482
Emission Peak: 675

Peridinin-Chlorophyll-Protein (PerCP) is a red-emitting fluorescent protein isolated from algae that can be excited by the 488 nm blue laser and captured with a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. PerCP exhibits a large Stokes' Shift, with an excitation peak at 482 nm and an emission peak at 675 nm. PerCP is was historically used in flow cytometry, however it is highly susceptible to photobleaching and... see more
