FATP4

Aliases: ACSVL4, FATP4, IPS
Other: long-chain fatty acid transport protein 4|arachidonate--CoA ligase|long-chain-fatty-acid--CoA ligase|solute carrier family 27 (fatty acid transporter), member 4|very long-chain acyl-CoA synthetase 4

This gene encodes a member of a family of fatty acid transport proteins, which are involved in translocation of long-chain fatty acids cross the plasma membrane. This protein is expressed at high levels on the apical side of mature enterocytes in the small intestine, and appears to be the principal fatty acid transporter in enterocytes. Clinical studies suggest this gene as a candidate gene for... see more

Excitation Peak: 340
Emission Peak: 545

CoraFluors are luminescent terbium complexes developed by the Mazitschek lab at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University. The high brightness, long emission lifetimes (> 1 ms) and excellent stability of CoraFluors make them well-suited tools for biomedical assay applications, including homogenous and intracellular time-gated fluorescent measurements (e.g., homogenous and intrac... see more
