CXADR

Aliases: CAR, CAR4/6, HCAR
Other: coxsackievirus and adenovirus receptor|46 kD coxsackievirus and adenovirus receptor (CAR) protein|CVB3-binding protein|HCVADR|coxsackie virus and adenovirus receptor|coxsackievirus B-adenovirus receptor

The protein encoded by this gene is a type I membrane receptor for group B coxsackieviruses and subgroup C adenoviruses. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 15, 18, and 21. [provided by RefSeq, May 2011]

CF488A

Common Laser: 488
Common Filter: 515/30
Excitation Peak: 490
Emission Peak: 515

CF®488A from Biotium is a fluorophore with an excitation peak at 490 nm and an emission peak at 515 nm. It is spectrally similar to Fluorescein, Alexa Fluor™ 488 and DyLight™ 488. It can be use in fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. In microscopy, CF®488A has been specifically validated for STORM, STED, Structured Illumination (SIM), 2-Photon microscopy and TIRF.
