CD141

Aliases: AHUS6, BDCA-3, BDCA3, CD141, THPH12, THRM, TM
Other: thrombomodulin|CD141 antigen|fetomodulin

The protein encoded by this intronless gene is an endothelial-specific type I membrane receptor that binds thrombin. This binding results in the activation of protein C, which degrades clotting factors Va and VIIIa and reduces the amount of thrombin generated. Mutations in this gene are a cause of thromboembolic disease, also known as inherited thrombophilia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Common Laser: 488
Common Filter:
Excitation Peak: 488
Emission Peak: 744

RealBlue™ 744 from BD Biosciences is a novel multimer fluorophore for use in spectral flow cytometry applications with an optimal excitation peak at 488nm and an emission peak at 744nm. The emission peak fits neatly between the PerCP-Cy5.5/ StarBright Blue 700/ RealBlue™ 705 and the RealBlue™ 780 emission peaks which means it does not fall into a standard filter set on conventional, non-spectra... see more
