CD141

Aliases: AHUS6, BDCA-3, BDCA3, CD141, THPH12, THRM, TM
Other: thrombomodulin|CD141 antigen|fetomodulin

The protein encoded by this intronless gene is an endothelial-specific type I membrane receptor that binds thrombin. This binding results in the activation of protein C, which degrades clotting factors Va and VIIIa and reduces the amount of thrombin generated. Mutations in this gene are a cause of thromboembolic disease, also known as inherited thrombophilia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Brilliant Violet 750

Common Laser: 405
Common Filter: 780/60
Excitation Peak: 405
Emission Peak: 750

Brilliant™ Violet 750 (BV750) is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that can be excited by the 405 nm Violet laser and collected using a 780/60 bandpass filter with a 740 LP dichroic mirror. BV750 has an excitation peak at 405 nm and an emission peak at 750 nm. Due to its unique Stokes shift, no dyes have identical or near identical excitation and emission spectrums. BV750 exhibits a medium le... see more
