Aquaporin-2

Aliases: AQP-CD, WCH-CD
Other: aquaporin-2|ADH water channel|AQP-2|aquaporin 2 (collecting duct)|aquaporin-CD|collecting duct water channel protein|water channel protein for renal collecting duct|water-channel aquaporin 2

This gene encodes a water channel protein located in the kidney collecting tubule. It belongs to the MIP/aquaporin family, some members of which are clustered together on chromosome 12q13. Mutations in this gene have been linked to autosomal dominant and recessive forms of nephrogenic diabetes insipidus. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2008]

DyLight 633

Common Laser: 628-640
Common Filter: 660/20
Excitation Peak: 638
Emission Peak: 658

DyLight™ 633 is a red-emitting fluroescent dye that can be excited by the 628 nm laser and collected using a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. DyLight™ 633 has an excitation peak of 638 nm and an emission peak of 658 nm, and is spectrally similar to Alexa Fluor™ 633. DyLight™ 633 is most commonly used in flow cytometery and fluorescence microscopy applications.
