Mammalian lens crystallins are divided into alpha, beta, and gamma families. Alpha crystallins are composed of two gene products: alpha-A and alpha-B, for acidic and basic, respectively. Alpha crystallins can be induced by heat shock and are members of the small heat shock protein (HSP20) family. They act as molecular chaperones although they do not renature proteins and release them in the fas... see more

ATTO 390

Common Laser: 405
Common Filter: 450/50
Excitation Peak: 390
Emission Peak: 479

ATTO 390 from ATTO-TEC has an excitation peak at 390 nm and an emission peak at 448 nm. It is a novel fluorescent label with a coumarin structure. Characteristic features of the label are high fluorescence quantum yield, large Stokes-shift, good photo-stability, and low molecular weight.
